All the power that the legislature has must be approved by the congress and then go through the senate and house

Section Two is about the house
-You must be 25 years of age
-Been a citizen of the united sates for 7 years
-And must be living in the state they are in the house of

The dates, area, and manners of the one holding elections for senator and representatives, should be prescribed in each colony by legislature thereof; but the congress by law may at time make or alter such regulations, except for place for electing senators.

The congress should gather at least once every year, such a meeting shall be taken place on the first Monday of December, unless the law chooses a different day.

This section was about Revenue bills, Legislative process, and Presidential veto.

-The bills were made in the House of Representatives, and the senate could concur it.
-Bills must be shown to president before they can be passed.
-When the president approves the bill, he signs it.
- Two thirds of the House of Representatives must agree to pass the law before it becomes permanent.
- said yeas and nays to voting.

-lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises
-pay debts
-provide for the common defense
-borrow money, control trade with foreign nations, provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the U.S., establish post offices
-declare war, provide and maintain a navy
-make rules for the government and regulation of the land and navy forces
-to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this constitution in the government of the united states, or in any department or officer thereof

-no bill of attainder(the loss of all civil rights by a person sentenced for a serious crime) law shall be passed
- no tax or duty shall be laid on articles exported from any state
-no money shall be taken from the Treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law; and a regular statement and account of the receipts and expenditures of all public money shall be published from time to time

Section 10
This section is about prohibited powers among the states.
- States had to get permission from congress before doing anything such as lay imposts or duties on shipping
- They couldn’t keep a troop or battle ships while there was no war going on, at the time of peace
- states cant go into alliance, confederation, or treaty.
